We are so grateful that our local Rotary chapter, Manito-Forest City 6460, was able to fund 5 interact members to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy in Lake Williamson this past weekend.
Interact Clubs are service clubs for young people aged 12-18, sponsored by local Rotary clubs, that aim to empower students to take action in their communities, develop leadership skills, and foster international understanding. What is Rotary? Rotary Clubs are global service organizations focused on promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water and sanitation, supporting education, and growing local economies. They achieve this through local and international service projects, community engagement, and fostering goodwill.
These Raiders were able to interact with students from all over west central Illinois to learn more about Rotary.
THANK YOU Manito-Forest City 6460!!
