Mrs. Harbourn and her STEP group had a great time doing art therapy this morning. They are six weeks into their positive mindset curriculum and they are exploring coping strategies while using a paintbrush. All the materials supplied for this lesson were provided by the Google grant supporting educators teaching social and emotional learning. Be on the lookout for these rocks in the community as we plan to sprinkle the Manito community with light and love.

The Midwest Central National Honor Society chapter inducted 22 new members on Wednesday, September 25. The National Honor Society is the nation’s premier organization established to recognize outstanding high school students. More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to recognize those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since its beginning in 1921. Today, it is estimated that more than one million students participate in National Honor Society activities. (nhs.org) We are proud to recognize each of these students for their ongoing commitment to their present and future selves. Congratulations!
