MCHS will present their fall musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone", this Thursday through Saturday, October 24, 25, and 26 at 7:30 PM at the Forman Center. Tickets are available at the door. You don't want to miss this fun show!
The MCHS music department would like to congratulate the 5 students below for being accepted into the ILMEA District 4 Festival! This required students to submit a video audition comprised of difficult music and skills. These students have been hard at work on them for 6 weeks. Congratulations Raiders!!!!

The Lady Raiders host Elmwood tonight for Senior Night. The JV is set to start at 6:00, V to follow. We will be honoring Baylie Holeman and Maddie Sidwell between the JV and V matches. Good Luck Ladies!
The Lady Raiders hosted 2 games this week and came home with 2 wins to keep their streak going. Thursday, Volley for the Cure night, the Raiders won in 3 great sets (22,25) (25,20) (25,14). Joslyn had 1 assist, 1 ace, and 2 digs. Amelia had 11 kills, 1 ace, and 8 digs. Baylie had 1 kill, 4 aces, and 9 digs. Addison had 2 digs. Lexi had 1 assist and 3 digs. Kayleigh had 7 kills and 1 assist. Maddie had 12 kills, 4 aces, 12 digs, and 2 blocks. Hayden had 4 kills and 1 block. Emma had 1 kill, 30 assists, 3 aces, and 8 digs. JV fell in 2 sets (20,25) (22,25).
Monday, the ladies hosted Peoria Manual and won in 2 sets (25,8) (25,14). Carleigh had 2 aces and 2 digs. Emma had 1 kill, 15 assists, 3 aces, and 1 dig. Hayden had 1 kill. Eliza had 2 kills, 4 aces, and 1 dig. Maddie had 4 kills, 1 ace, and 2 digs. Kayleigh had 7 kills. Lexi had 1 dig. Addison had 4 digs. Baylie had 2 kills and 1 ace. Amelia had 2 kills, 6 aces, and 4 digs. Joslyn had 3 aces and 1 dig. JV won in 2 sets (25,17) (25,9).
The Lady Raiders finish their regular season next week hosting Elmwood on Monday and traveling to Lewistown on Tuesday. Regional action will start on Tuesday, October 29 at 6pm at Illini Bluffs versus Spoon River.

MCHS is holding Parent Teacher conferences at the high school on Thursday, October 24th from 3:00 - 7:00 PM and Friday, October 25th from 8:00 - 11:00 AM. Parents are welcome to walk in, but they can also call the office at 309.968.6766 to schedule an appointment. Preference will be given to those with appointments.
Zach Highland teeing off on start of day 2 of IHSA State.
Zach Highland made the cut to be able to play tomorrow at the IHSA State Golf Match. His tee time is scheduled for 8:30am. Good Luck Zach!
After a 30 min frost delay, Zach has started playing at the IHSA State.
A parent meeting with the winter sports coaches and Athletic Director will be October 23rd at 7:15 in the HS gym. If you have already attended a meeting this fall, you only need to attend the coaches meeting after the 7:15 AD meeting.
Zach Highland will be participating in the IHSA State Golf Meet today at Prairie Vista Golf Course in Bloomington. Zach will be teeing off at 10:09am. The Raider Nation is proud of Zach's accomplishment and wishes him the best this weekend.

An assembly was held yesterday for Zach Highland for qualifying for the IHSA State Golf Match. Zach will be playing a practice round today on the course and then will tee off at 10:09 Friday at state.

Dinner Theater tickets for the Saturday, October 26 performance of "The Drowsy Chaperone" are available for purchase at the Midwest Central High School office through Thursday, October 17. Tickets are $30 each and include a meal and the show. Checks should be made payable to MCHS. The dinner theater tickets must be purchased in advance.
"The Drowsy Chaperone" musical will be presented on October 24, 25 and 26 at 7:30 PM at the Forman Center. Show tickets are sold at the door each night.
Mrs. Frank’s Multimedia Class has been hard at work developing a school podcast. Students have learned technical skills such as using soundboards and software to record and edit audio. In addition, students have developed crucial communication, interpersonal and time-management skills. Follow the high school on social media to catch the first episode releasing soon!

It’s Trunk-or-Treat time! Join us for some Halloween fun on Thursday, October 31, at MIDWEST CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL! Decorated cars will be lined up in front of the high school. Games and refreshments will be inside. Everyone is welcome!
