The Red Cross Blood Drive sponsored by the MCHS National Honor Society on Thursday, March 2, was a huge success! We collected a total of 38 units, which surpassed our goal of 35 units. We are so proud our Raiders and our community! With each unit collected, one or more of our senior NHS members have an opportunity to earn a scholarship. The more units we collect, the more scholarship money we receive! The next Manito Community Blood Drive is on Thursday, May 4, at the Forman Center from 1:00 to 5:30 pm. We hope to see you there!

The MCHS National Honor Society is hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM in the HS gymnasium!
This event is open to the public and walk-ins are always welcome. However, for the best donor experience, please make an appointment in advance by calling 309.968.6766 or by emailing Bree Kerley at kerley@midwestcentral.org. You may also make an appointment on the Blood Donor app or online at www.redcrossblood.org. Making an appointment helps to ensure we have the appropriate number of Red Cross personnel to accommodate our donors and helps get you in, out, and on your way!
Please consider using the Rapid Pass system to complete your pre-donation paperwork prior to the day of your appointment. This can also help shorten your stay at the donation site. Visit www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass for easy, step-by-step instructions. You can now send your pass to your smart phone or print out to bring along.
Students ages 16 years and older are eligible donate. Parental consent is required for students under 18. The sign-up sheet and parental consent form are on the office ledge.
