Today MCMS celebrated National Principal’s Day. The staff surprised Mrs. Fancher by wearing t-shirts from the “Chaos Crew”…and having her wear one as the “Chaos Coordinator”! We appreciate everything she does for our students and staff!!!
Midwest Central will be hosting the track meet tonight. The meet starts at 4:15 and we’d like to wish our Raiders good luck!!!!

The track team had an excellent meet yesterday at Havana. Several athletes set new PRs. Here are a few highlights:
Kylie Gale came in first in the girls 100m hurdles and was fastest out of the 7th and 8th grade hurdlers
Preston Sledge clocked a 2:30 800m
Grant Rasmussen ran a 6:58 1600m
All relay groups ran excellent races
Dereka Egan won both girls shot and discus
Practice today will be at the middle school from 3-4:30 PM.

The track team had a home meet on Tuesday against Pekin Edison, Pekin Broadmoor, and Pekin Good Shepard.
The Raiders finished 2nd overall for 7th-grade boys, 8th-grade boys and 7th-grade girls. The 8th-grade girls came in 3rd.

Natali Shaw- 8G, 100 M
Addison Friedrich- 7G, 100 M, 200 M and Long Jump
Kally Richardson- 7G Shot Put
7th Girls 4x200 Relay and the 4x400 Relay
Ashton Sledge- 7B Hurdles
Josh Dawe- 7B 200M
Griffin Meeker- 7B High Jump
