Two weeks ago, two MC Seniors in the ICC welding early college program took a statewide written test through Skills USA to see if they could qualify for the state welding skills test. This test is taken by hundreds of high school and college students across the state and it is very hard to make it to state.
Our Raiders made it... YAY! They will compete in the hands on welding test on April 29th at the Peoria Civic Center. We are super proud of our two seniors (left to right) Ethan Klaasen and Frank Brackney III.

Reminder - Tomorrow (3/4) is a full day, NOT a 1/2 day for students.

Mrs. Sarff’s health classes are currently studying the human body systems. We started the current unit with the skeletal system and today the students began creating a model that they will add to as we cover each of the body systems in class. The body systems covered in this unit will include the excretory system, the digestive system, the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, the nervous system, and the muscular system. We will learn about the endocrine system and the reproductive systems later in the semester.
