Yesterday was National Principal Appreciation Day… and Midwest Central is SO LUCKY to have some of the best administrators there are! They all care so much about our students and this school district, often doing things beyond the scope of their duties to try to make the students learning environment the very best it can be.
Join in with us in thanking our amazing Principals for all their efforts. Ms. Timm, Ms. Taft, Ms. Fancher, Mr. Lazarz, and Mr. Norris… THANK YOU! Each of you are appreciated more than you know!

Summer Driver's Ed forms are now available!
Students can grab one from the HS office or download it here: https://5il.co/19pp4

The Raiders defeated Bushnull Prairie City on Senior Night. The 11-4 win sent seniors Aiden Askins, Michael Barney, Connor Allen, Karter Richardson, and Kyle Uselton off in fine fashion. Collecting two home runs was Karter Richardson. Kyle Uselton had two line drive doubles. Picking up the pitching victory was Logan Justus. Eli Woodley finished the game with two scoreless innings. #MCRaiderNation

Congratulations to the Raiders Boys track team for winning the Tomahawk Conference championship last night at Athens High School!!!!
First place event champions were Reece Nowack in the 200m dash. Matthew Land in the 400m dash, Raisean Anderson in the 300m hurdles, and the boys 4 x 400m relay consisting of Matthew Land, Raisean Anderson, Kevin Chaney, and Reece Nowack.
Second place medals went to Matthew Land in the 100m Dash, Kevin Chaney in the 800m, and 1600m run, both boys 4 x 100 and 4 x 200m teams. The boys set 17 personal bests yesterday and it really shows the amount of hard work they have put into practice this year. We have a great group of boys that fought for every point we could get yesterday and they truly deserve this championship.
The girls track team placed 5th at the conference meet at Athens High School. Leading the way with a second place finish was Natalie Shaw in the 100m dash. Third place finishes went to Natalie Shaw in the 200m dash, Courtney Maslana in the 3200m run, Ella Glover in the 100m hurdles, and the 4 x 100m relay.
We have a very young girls team this year but I’m very proud of the effort they gave last night. The girls set 8 personal bests yesterday and competed against some tough competition.
Our boys and girls will next compete at the Heyworth Invite next Thursday, May 5th at 4:00.
