We’re celebrating our own Courtney and Collin, two of 72,000 students from across the country who earned academic honors from College Board’s National Recognition Programs! They received the National Rural and Small Town Award. There’s so much that makes students like Courtney and Collin unique. They have a GPA of 4.0 or higher. They’re the top 10% of PSAT/NMSQT® or PSAT™ 10 assessment takers in each state for each program or have earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP® Exams. They either attend school in a rural area or small town, or identify as African American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, or Indigenous/Native. Raider family- let’s take a moment to congratulate them on their hard work and National Recognition!!!
Congratulations!!! We are so proud of both of you and your academic excellence.

Physical activity has the following benefits for stress management: It pumps up your endorphins; it reduces negative effects of stress; it’s meditation in motion; and it improves mood. She started the class with basic yoga poses; following, the class participated in a group game focused on moving the body in creative ways; and lastly, she ended the class with a social/emotional lesson on how grounding and gratitude strategies.
