"Once upon a time, in a far-away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek! "
We are excited to announce that our fall musical will be "Shrek The Musical!" Auditions will be held in August after school begins and will be open to all freshmen through seniors. We look forward to seeing you at auditions in the fall! Show dates are October 23, 24, and 25. Musical directors are Susan Frank and Heather Burks.
We will use the Band app for important dates and announcements throughout the summer and fall. Any student that is interested in the MCHS musical may join our Band app group either through the QR code that is posted at the high school or at this website address: https://band.us/n/a9a5A0p628a18. Friday night, Lady Raiders hosted Senior Night and UC Night in honor of Sue Reining. Raiders defeated Midland 8-2, and maxed out on their pledges, earning 11 hits as a team. Taylor Keihn was celebrated before and after the game, "signing out" one last time and doing her final lap around the bases on our home field. During game play, Lexi Wood earned the win in the pitcher's circle and dominated offensively, going 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 doubles and a single. Raiders' offense was fierce with Addison Friedrich also going 3 for 4, Grace Meeks going 2 for 3, and Emma Junkin, Mia Warner, and Keihn each earning a hit as well. It was an exceptional way to wrap up the regular season. Thank you to the parents for all of their hard work toward a successful Senior and UC Night!
