Cooking for a Cause will be selling Raider Mix and Edible Cookie Dough Thursday and Friday before school and at lunch. Cost is $1 and all proceeds will benefit TAPS animal shelter.

Landen Dietz set the table at the plate and on the mound, firing 2 innings with 5 strikeouts! Nicky Frank had 2 RBI, Cade Nelson and Ody Hale both had doubles and RBIs for the victorious Raiders, Noah Kohtz, Hudson Nolan and Cooper Guede all collected RBI’s also! Camdyn McAdams picked up a steal and a run scored in the winning effort. Garrett Shay was good on the mound, firing 5 innings with 8 strikeouts to pick up the win!
A big Cross-Country highlight in last night’s meet! Reid Sidders shattered the previous course record of 13:24, lowering it by more than one full minute with a first-place finish and a time of 12:23! An incredible performance and a record-setting day! Congratulations to all of our runners! We are incredibly proud of the effort, determination, and improvement shown yesterday.
Midwest Central Softball won big over Havana JH 10-0 last night in their first regional game. Libby earned the win in the circle for Midwest Central, turning in a dominant performance. With her seven strikeouts, Libby surpassed the 100-strikeout mark for the season and now has 101 strikeouts on the year. The Raiders tallied 10 hits in the game. Kallie Herrman, Libby, Kynlie Hilst, and Sarah Huff each collected two hits for the team. Mackenzie Campbell stole two bases and led the team with two walks. Midwest Central were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. The Raiders will return home Wednesday to face Pleasant Plains in a semi-regional matchup, with first pitch set for 4:30 p.m.
