Ashlyn Brush, a senior at Midwest Central High School, has been selected by the faculty and staff at MCHS as Student of the Month in Family Consumer Science. Ashlyn is the daughter of Don and Angie Brush of Green Valley. Throughout high school, Ashlyn has been involved in FCCLA (Secretary), Foods 1, Culinary Arts, CDA, Student Council, History League, Interact Club, Spanish Club, and National Honor Society. In her spare time, Ashlyn enjoys traveling, doing makeup, and spending time with family and friends. After graduation, Ashlyn is attending Illinois Central College to pursue a career as a Surgical technologist. Ashlyn personally thanks the Midwest Central School District and Manito Community Bank for sponsoring this program.
