Adult Tutor
For students that are struggling with school, tutoring may help them get back on track.  We have an adult tutor available Tuesday and Thursday of each week for math.  Some school years we have an additional tutor to help with classes other than math.

Student Tutors
Help from a student tutor may be arranged through the guidance counselor, Mr. McClure.  Student tutors are available during study hall.  Once a student asks the guidance counselor for help, he will find one or two students that are willing to help and lets the study hall teacher know that they may ask permission to study together.  The student needing help must ask the student tutor for help and the student tutor has the right to say he/she cannot help that day.  This rarely happens  but the student tutors also need time to study for tests or complete homework.

Teachers
A resource that students tend to dismiss are their teachers.  Teachers are available to help students from 7:45--8:00 a.m. and 3:00--3:15 p.m.  Students may make arrangements to meet with a teacher earlier or later than the listed time  but, the student should make the arrangement a day ahead of time as teachers may have commitments before or after school.  Also, students may get a pass from a teacher to meet with them during study hall.

Students that are willing to ask for help have a better chance of succeeding when they begin to struggle in a class.  When you don't understand something in class, ask your teacher for help.  They will either help you during class time or will make arrangements to meet with you at another time.
